Did You Know: Many Debt Consolidation Companies are owned, financed or operating “under the umbrella” of Credit Card Companies?

We Practice What We Teach
Christian Debt Consultants is a Debt Free Organization
Let Us Help You Get There

Debt Settlement is not negating your debt. Debt settlement represents a fair and equitable compromise, Not Abandonment. Christ has given us the example:

"As he looked up, Jesus saw the rich putting their gifts into the temple treasury. He also saw widow put in two very small copper coins. "I tell you the truth, this poor widow has put in more than all the others. All these people gave their gifts out of their wealth; but she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on." Matthew 21:1-4

Debt settlement represents giving all you have to give in a fair and equitable way. At Christian Debt Consultants we understand that our Clients want to do what is right, they just need some help.

Debt settlement is not consolidation. Debt consolidation typically refers to only negotiating a reduction in interest rates, not the total balance of you credit card debt. With Debt consolidation you still pay 100% of the balance, plus interest and any associated fees (often referred to as a "gift" or "donation") assessed by the consolidation company. The initial interest rate decrease may seem appealing until you factor in the money paid to obtain it.  In addition, Debt consolidation may not afford you all of your rights under the Fair Debt Collection Practice Act.
